Hi,
My name is Erin.
I want to invite you to come and meet with me when you have time; a spare moment (I know those are rare), a quiet moment (even rarer), or a carved out “me time” moment.
I’m not fancy, and I try not to be wordy. Practical and casual is my comfort level, but putting my thoughts down in writing is many steps outside of my comfort zone.
Somewhere around two to three times a month I want to post some thoughts on what’s been mulling around in my head about where Jesus is moving in my life to encourage me to change to be more like him.
First and foremost, I identify myself as a Child of God, but additionally, I feel like my role as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, occupational therapy assistant, massage therapist, and Bible teacher gives me many opportunities to think about God’s direction and purpose for my life.
My experiences and my reactions to people around me reflect my character, and I want my character to reflect Jesus.
“For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 1:5-8 NIV
Thank you for coming to visit. Please leave a note if you have been encouraged, challenged, taught, or are in need of prayer.
Bear with me as I get used to the idea of writing publicly. This is a step in growing myself and broadening the boarders of my little life.
